Glaspec
supplies high-end value added processed glass products mainly
for the architectural and interior markets in the Asia Pacific
region. About 20% of the output is sold to the Malaysian market
with the balance mainly sold to Singapore for HDB markets
and private commercial and residential projects.
High quality processed glass is one of the main materials
used for buildings and home design. It is foreseeable that
there will be an increase in demand for processed glass as
there is a growing trend for its use on buildings to give
them the modern and sophisticated look. Currently, there are
only two plants in Malaysia that have the equipment and capability
to produce the full range of processed value added glass products
which include tempered, laminated, double glazed and printed
glass products. Glaspec is one of the two.
Glaspec is also the only processor for Southwall’s California
Series and Guardian’s Sun-Guard products in Malaysia. |
